The volcano erupts again, leading Miguel (Adrian Bellani) to believe that it didn’t work. The shaking subsides long enough for the Father to be able to complete the ceremony. Julian (Ben Masters) asks Endora (Nicole Cox) to use her magic to make it stop and she zaps the bowl of holy water. It’s the dark side at work, trying to prevent the ceremony. As the baptism begins, the earth begins to shake so badly that the priest can’t continue. Each group catches the other up on the amazing events. Unfortunately, the deal didn’t work out as well as expected and the satellite TV provider pulled the plug in December 2007. DirecTV saved the soap and began airing it exclusively in the Fall of 2007, hoping that fans would be willing to pay to watch. Passions was cancelled by NBC in January 2007 because of low ratings.
